Confluence should allow users to preset their preferred Confluence URL patterns to improve consistencies across pages, blogs and spaces.
This is the current pattern:
- Standard URL with Title: http://example.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/<SPACE-KEY>/pages/<PAGE-ID>/<PAGE-TITLE>
- Tiny URL: http://example.atlassian.net/l/cp/<ID>
This suggests implementing the ability for customers to select another URL pattern, such as follows:
- Standard URL with Title: http://example.com/confluence/display/SAN/ABC
- URL with Page ID: http://example.com/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=<ID>
- Tiny URL: http://example.com/confluence/x/<ID>
