Make it optional for page blueprints to create the index page

Would it be possible to make the creation of the index page that gets created when you develop a custom blueprint for Confluence be optional? I would like to have a custom blueprint that just creates the page it suppose to without also having it create an index page for that blueprint. Maybe a simple option in the atlassian-plugin.xml blueprint module like "disable-index-page='true'". This would only be for custom blueprints, not asking this for built in Confluence blueprints.
