    Description

      NOTE: This bug report is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding bug report.

      Steps to reproduce

      1. Search for an image on the web
      2. Right click and choose copy
      3. Open the editor
      4. Right click and choose paste
      5. Save page

      The pasted image will display correctly but the image will not be attached to the page.

      Reproduced on IE8, FF and Chrome

      Workaround:

      An easy workaround for this is to:

      1. Paste the image from web into Paint.
      2. Then select the image in paint and Copy it again
      3. Paste it on your Confluence page.

      The image will be saved as an attachment.
