NOTE: This bug report is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding bug report.
When creating a template page if you create an anchor and then try to link a text on the page with this anchor you get "The markup provided is not valid link markup" message.
A workaround for it would be first creating it on a normal page, copy the content and paste on the template page, so the link will work then.

[ {color:#ff0000}@all @Atlassian{color} What's going wrong here? The issues which are linked to this one are fixed, or just ignored. We're using Confluence{color:#ff0000} 6.0{color}3! We are facing the same issue. When i create a new template, and add a few anchor links where i want to link back to with the ctrl+k shortcut (same as creating link) by creating a advanced link. I can't save the link, it gave the error message ''The markup provided is not valid link markup". But if we simply aren't allowed to include the # character, then an anchor link isn't possible. So, here from us the request and update to fix this issue. It affects at least 3 major versions, i should say.. use JIRA for proper bug management and fix it. We all would really appreciate. ] |
