Character-Encoding ISO-8859-1 does not work in jiraissues macro

We changed from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1 in Jira and then we had Confluence running with UTF-8. This resulted in this error message when trying to get the feed from Jira: Error rendering macro: java.io.UTFDataFormatException: Invalid byte 1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence.

We tried to set Confluence to ISO-8859-1 as well, but nothing changes. We still end up with the same exception. Is the jiraissues macro not getting the used DataFormat from Confluence, but instead always gets the UTF-8?

The reason we set to ISO-8859-1 is to support norwegian characters in Jira attachements.
