Description
Naming a page with a single dot (.) will lock the page, i.e. it becomes impossible to access the page, making it impossible to edit it to change its name. If this is done on the home page of a space, then it becomes impossible to access the space . Only workaround found is to export the whole Confluence instance and manually edit the entities.xml file to rename <property name="title"><![CDATA[.]]></property> into something else, then import the whole instance.
Confluence should forbid a page name consisting of a single dot.
in Firefox this results into an error message saying that Firefox has detected a redirection that won't work. Basically: trying to access http://<confluence server name>/display/spacekey/. or http://<confluence server name>/display/spacekey redirects to http://<confluence server name>/display/spacekey/ which results in an error.
