Confirmed in 2.2.10, may not exist in later versions.

The issue is that when you manually add a label to a page "my:favourite" and "my:favorite" (2 different spellings), both do not display on the page. I assume this was intentional to support Australian and American spelling? In my version of Confluence though, "my:favorite" does not actually make the page a favourite, and there's no other way (from the Profile for example) to remove the label.

      To replicate:

      1. Open a page in Confluence.
      2. Click "EDIT" next to the labels.
      3. Add the label "my:favorite". Note that it's not added to the list of labels.
      4. Click "Done".
      5. Refresh the page to confirm that this page is not a favourite (i.e. the star isn't gold).
      6. Click "Preferences" and choose "Labels" tab.
      7. You can see the "favorite" label with the associated page, but no way to delete the label.

      Additional steps:

      8. Go back to your page and manually add "my:favourite".
      9. Click "Done" and refresh the page and the star will be gold.
      10. Click the star to remove the page from the favourites.
      11. Go back to the "Labels" tab in your profile and the "my:favorite" is still in there.
