When using the rich text editor, if a bulleted list is created inside a table cell and normal text is entered after the list, Confluence eats the new line.

There have been bug fixes to the rich text editor since 2.2.3, so I recommend that you upgrade.
Please raise issues for any bugs that you find.
You need to either give some wiki markup which doesn't 'round-trip' correctly, or a description of what you do in the rich text editor and what markup gets saved.

added a comment - Please fix the horrible bugginess of the rich text editor when using tables and bullets. It is extremely difficult to edit a large table in wikimarkup and the rich text editor is always screwing up the formatting. I spend more time trying to fix the table markup then actually working on the document. The attached screenshot was taken with V223 - after making some simple text edits in Tich Text, then hitting save.
I've also seen problems on a large table, where i click the button to insert a new column, and it doesn't insert a new column in all rows – rows towards the bottom are missing wikimarkup!!

Note that you can't have text after a list in a table cell which isn't part of the last item in the list, i.e. the HTML produced by:

is
...
<td><ul><li>a<br/>b</li></ul></td>
...
But certainly what you are seeing is a bug.
