Space export includes content properties for content protected by page permissions

Exporting the CODEGEIST space on confluence.atlassian.com includes the excerpts for all the protected pages which consitute the Codegeist 2006 archive. These pages are protected not with individual page permissions, but by a view restriction on the parent page.

Content properties for non-visible content should not be included in the space export.

            Atlassian Update - 11 April 2025

            Hi,

At Atlassian, our goal is to ensure we’re providing the best experience for our customers. With our new Data Center strategy, Atlassian's focus is on security, compliance, and performance and is a key driver in prioritizing bugs. Closing the bugs that do not fall into those categories will allow us to focus on the ones in the most current versions of our products.

This bug is being closed due to a lack of engagement in the last four years, including no new watchers, votes, or comments; this inactivity suggests a low impact.

Please note the comments on this thread are not being monitored.

You can read more about our bug fix policy here and how we prioritize bugs.

To learn more about our recent investments in Confluence Data Center, please check our public roadmap and dashboards containing recently resolved issues, current work, and future plans.

            Kind regards,
            Confluence Data Center

This issue occurs in my production environment twice a week, I do a space export and import and have to always deleted the data from OS_PROPERTYENTRY, can we please get someone to review and resolve this issue. It would really make my life alot simpler and reduce the time to export/import the space.

This is still an issue. It is even an issue with the downloadable JIRA 5.2 documentation. We would like to install local copies of the Atlassian documentation but do not want to insert data into our database that will prevent the space from being removed cleanly. It will likely also cause problems when we want to import newer versions of the documentation set.
