anchor links to local page anchors classed as incoming link

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

If a page contains an anchor (using the macro) and also contains a link to that anchor (using the foo syntax), the link is listed as an incoming link to the page (i.e. the page itself is listed as an entry in the "Incoming Links" list). While it is a link it isn't really an incoming link. Nor is it of any interest.

If the source of a link to a page is within the page itself the link shouldn't be classed as an incoming link.
