Team Calendars notifications popping into table of contents

I'm running into a recent issue where the headlines from dismissible notifications from Team Calendars are popping into the table of contents macros on my pages. I've tried dismissing the notices and removing/re-adding the calendars as well as deleting and removing the TOC from the pages, but the list item doesn't seem to clear.

Do I need to do something specific to address this, or is it a known bug?
