Internet Explorer 8 crashes with Confluence Team calendar macro

      NOTE: This bug report is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.

      When using the Team Calendars Macro on a page the Internet Explorer 8 crashes. The IE starts to freeze and it affects the whole browser (not only one tab).
      It does not crash on Google Chrome (Version 34.0) Opera 12.11 (Pesto-Engine)

      We are working on a Confluence-Upgrade, but it is currently not possible, as well as to use a later version of Internet Explorer 8. Therefore a fix would be appreciated.
