    Description

      NOTE: This bug report is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding bug report.

      Steps to reproduce:

      • Create a page with two paragraphs. Publish.
      • Edit the page. Select the first paragraph.
      • Click on insert > symbol
      • Insert a symbol
      • Notice another blank paragraph got added after the paragraph you selected.
