As an administrator, I would like to see a startup splash screen similar to JIRA's so that I know that Confluence is starting up

      Problem Definition

      When Confluence is still starting up and you attempt to access the website via the URL, the browser spins without any indication that Confluence is still in the process of starting up. This can cause confusion for the administrator as they get the impression that something is wrong with the instance.

      Suggest Solution

      Implement a startup splash screen similar to the one in JIRA so that administrators can immediately see what Confluence is doing in the background.

            Fully agree with the Vaibhav Shrivastava. I think it will be very useful for admins. It seems to me very strange that Jira and Bitbucket have them, but Confluence still does not have it.

             

            Atlassian, please, add splash screen for Confluence.

            Would like to have starting splash screen. It is useful for administrator to know confluence is starting in background rather than we suspecting something wrong with application especially when it takes a while to start application.

            Thank you for raising this suggestion. We regret to inform you that due to limited demand, we have no plans to implement it in the foreseeable future. In order to set expectations, we're closing this request now. Sometimes potentially valuable tickets do get closed where the Summary or Description has not caught the attention of the community.
