May I use viewing site statistics to improve my sites?

A Confluence Usage Stats plugin is disabled by default.
Could you turn on a Confluence Usage Stats plugin on my Confluence Cloud?

Site analytics is very important in wiki system.
I think you should create a extension point of Confluence Cloud for external analytics engines such as Google Analytics, Piwik and so on.

Sorry for late reply. Analytics for Confluence Cloud is looks good to me. Showing track views and activity is cool. Thanks!

Other way, I found GoogleAnalytics for Confluence Cloud provided by resolution Reichert Network Solutions GmbH Atlassian Verified. It is free of charge now, but they plan to change to paid plugin in the future.

Think this is a crucial piece of functionality that should be offered out of the box.

            Cheers,

As I understand it this has been removed due to performance issues which we never noticed. So please stop trying to improve your service offering by not improving it and adding costs. Thanks!

Activity is important to our company as well and it is ridiculous that I would have to pay for the same functionality that was previously available for free. Atlassian is like a low cost airline that provides you the seat but everything on top of it you have to pay, in form of an add-on..... unbelievable.

Could you please turn on again Global Activity? It is important piece of the knowledge base as without statistics it is kind of useless and I do not see as an option offering using plugin which costs me the same as the Confluence itself. This is just ridiculous. Confluence for 500 users costs me $500 and now I  should order new cloud plug in for $445/m.

Please think about it. If there would be reasonable pricing policy I would not complain but from 0 go to 445/m for the functionality which was part of the cloud solution. Really do not understand it.

We've built an add-on to help address this need: Analytics for Confluence Cloud

At a space level you get a great overview of created, updated and view activity and at the page level you can see exactly who has viewed a specific page or blog.

This is the only reason I don't use Confluence as a Knowledge Base
