Summary
Restricted page lock icon displays as unlocked when there is only edit restrictions on a page
Environment
- Confluence 5.9+
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a page in Confluence 5.9 or above
- Click on the lock icon to edit restrictions
- Choose 'Editing restricted' from the drop-down
- Add some editing restrictions
- Click 'Apply'
Expected Results
As long as there are any restrictions (whether view or edit or both), this icon should display as locked/red. When testing this on a Confluence 5.8 and 5.7 instance, adding either viewing or editing restrictions to a page will change the icon to a red lock. You do not need both restrictions for the icon to change.
Actual Results
Lock icon still displays as grey and unlocked. This can be misleading, as there are certain restrictions. A potential solution would be to have an intermediate icon that would display as grey and locked. See attached images for reference.
Notes
If this was a design decision, then this will not be a bug. I'd just like to clarify whether this was an intentional decision or if this was done unintentionally.
Workaround
There is no workaround at this point.
