The following are the issues that users are facing after inserting the ppt file in a page

      1. Numbered lists: Numbered lists in powerpoint appear as bullets and in few slides bullets gone missing when embedded in the page.
      2. Font Resizing: Font size is enlarged from original. This causes text to appear in a different location when compared to say a background template image and can cause text to wrap onto multiple lines, when it originally displays within the same line. The text wrapping contributes to the phenomenon where lines of text are cut off and not displayed when the presentation is embedded in the page.
      3. Graphic related issues: Some pictures and most 3D diagrams are not being displayed properly.
      4. Color related issues: Colors of diagrams/figures are being changed

You can refer the attached ppt in which everything has been explained clearly and also attached the original ppt to reproduce the issue:

[CONFSERVER-41523] Formatting issues with ppt preview macro

Even with Arial fonts preview doesn't work and also had the issue, if I was downloading the presentation the letters were replaced by "signs" in the presentation.

I have found downloading and installing the Atlassian Companion app, then removing the offending PPT and replacing it again has solved my problem.

i had to change the fonts in each slide to Arial - including headers. After this I could see more content but still see minor formatting errors once the document is uploaded and viewed via powerpnt macro

I believe this is caused by font conversion when re-formatting for Confluence.  What I found was that Confluence was using Arial Normal fonts, so if I used something OTHER than Arial Normal fonts in my PPT, I got the formatting issues.  I have found a simple work-around is to modify the source PPT file to use just Arial Normal fonts in whatever size works for the page and then adjust for look/feel/format using that font.  Then when converting and displaying in Confluence the content ends up looking identical to the source because Confluence won't have to make any font substitutions.

Is there any work around for the moment ?  and how soon will the fix be as its a basic requirement for powerpoint file viewing on confluence pages
