There have been comments made to this Jira that the issue is not resolved. There are 17 people watching the issue but we have had no feedback 
I will have to start using Google Docs if this issue isn't resolved - we need to be able to freeze rows and columns in a table using Confluence, when the tables are large - we are able to scroll but loose where we are.
The functionality is there - its just that its not working.
I have to use a large table in the wiki (confluence) and there is a bug - the sticky columns won't work if you have a sticky row. If you have a large table, the chances are you need to stick both the header column and the header row. (they could have merged cells in the headers). We don't have a lot of colours to choose from to highlight our tables.

Having the frozen header is a very helpful and significant improvement in Confluence 5.9. However, frozen columns are not the same thing and I am hoping these things will also be available in the future. Is this being worked on?
can we have someone assigned to this as it is a fundamental option to any table creation that has multiple rows.
We are running Confulence 5.8.17

We have Confluence 5.7 running together with Confluence Table Enhancer Macro.
Even if we switch our space to default theme we have no horizontal scroll bar available for large tables.
In the table enhancer macro preview screen and even in the confluence preview the feature is availble. After saving the page the scroll option disappears and our first row of our table does not freeze.
