The Category Filter in the Spaces List macro has stopped working

Summary

The Category Filter in the Spaces List macro has stopped working in the latest version of Confluence Cloud. It was working in Confluence Cloud 5.9.1-OD-2015.45.2-0001

Environment

• Confluence Cloud
• Version 5.9.1-OD-2015.47.1-0002

Steps to Reproduce

1. Ensure you have spaces which are categorised
2. Add the 'Spaces List' macro to a page with the Scope of spaces set to 'category'.
3. Save the page and then try to sort by the category

Expected Results

• The list of spaces in the macro will refresh to reflect the filter - the list will match that in the space directory when a category is selected, for example:
  

Actual Results

• The list of spaces in the macro does not refresh or change, the wrong spaces are displayed
  
  No errors are showing in the logs or the console.

Workaround

Use the Space Directory to view spaces by category instead.
