When inserting a web link using Firefox, the insert button appears to do nothing. The link does not insert and it stays on the web link macro page

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a page
      2. Select the 'Edit' option from the top right menu
      3. Select the link button from the top menu
      4. Enter a web link in the weblink section; Enter a name for the link below
      5. Click the insert button

      Expected Result

The link will insert and show on the page

      Actual Result

The insert button appears to do nothing as it does not insert and the insert link page remains

      Environment

      Confluence 5.7
      Linux Ubuntu
      Firefox

      Workaround

      1. Edit a page
      2. use the shortcut to start a link - type [
      3. after [ , <your text> - then | and control/command v to past the link the you want inside the last bracket
It is important to note that you will not be able to right-click when trying to perform this action. It must be done using the command ‘v’ paste function for the actual link
