NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.
Summary
When using the office connector and editing/updating a document, the page 'modified date' does not update after the change. This is a request to update the 'modified date' of the Confluence Page when an office document is edited.
Steps to Reproduce
- Log into Confluence with Firefox or Internet Explorer
- Create a new page and 'edit' it.
- Create a test Office (excel was what I used) document with test data and copy the document to the new page while in 'edit' mode.
- Save the page
- (You will need to wait a few minutes so the 'last modified date' is a few minutes previous)
- Click 'Edit Document'
- Make a change to the test office document
- Save the document
Expected Result
The page 'date modified' will be updated when the office document is saved
Actual Result
The page 'date modified' is unchanged after saving the office document.
Environment
Windows 7
Firefox and Internet Explorer
Confluence 5.4.2 (I believe this is all versions)
Other Notes
We are aware that the 'date modified' on the attachments page does get updated when a change is made. This request is to update the Confluence page 'date modified' to reflect this information as well.
