The tasks summary page only displays the last 6 months worth of information

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a task in a version of Confluence before 5.5; and leave the task unticked (i.e not done)
2. After more than 6 months, upgrade Confluence to a version higher than 5.5

Expected Results

The task appears in the "Tasks" page of the user profile

Actual Results

The task does not appear in the "Tasks" page of the user profile

Notes

When designing the "Tasks" page we made a conscious decision to display only tasks that were newer than 6 months from the date of the upgrade. This was to avoid overwhelming users that had a large number of incomplete tasks older than 6 months.

At the bottom of the page, we have a link that states "For a custom view, create a task report".

Suggested Fix

We should include information about the cutoff in the tasks screen, with something along the lines of the following:

Not seeing all your tasks? This page only shows tasks for the last 6 months - for more flexibility, create a Task Report page.

with a link to creating a task report page; just as we have now. This would reduce confusion and make it clear that the system is operating correctly.
