What I want is to be able to label some pages, and then use that label in a macro to produce a table of contents similar to what is attached (Outlook.png).

How to make nice clickable confluence diagrams.

      1. Check out the visio diagrams from ....
      2 Install MapEdit from ...
      3. Modify the diagram accordingly
      4. Save the visio diagram as a jpg file
      5. Use MapEdit to draw the links
      6. Use the macro to take the export from mapedit and paste into the confluence page
      7. Upload the image to the confluence page
      8. Replace the image link from mapedit to the link to the uploaded image.

Another site to look at might be flickr.com as that makes extensive use of labels.

As long as these "label trees" can be easily accessed using macros, I'm sure all kinds of UI's will be developed for browsing them. An example could be a Flash animation that using some off-the-shelf physics models to show labels in an interactive 3D web, etc.

The spacegraph macro now takes a 'label' argument, and only shows pages with that label. It still shows links between pages, and still displays boring, square, straw coloured boxes

            The

macro could be adapted to do this.

There are a couple of examples that might be useful, using the del.icio.us API.

This one is done using Flash, so maybe not suited to a macro, and is probably too hard to understand:

This one is done using an image map, with more 'popular' links having bigger boxes:
