Confluence's JIRA Chart macro needs consistent colours

We are trying to use the JIRA Chart macro to display the status of multiple versions of one project; and the epics of another.

The problem we have is that the colours do not map consistently to status - the largest segment is always blue. That means in one place blue is closed; another blue is open.

It might sound a bit trivial but it really makes the macro a bit useless as it's too hard to read.
