JDK 1.8.0_45 and older are affected (latest version until today Jun / 2015)

The Java Runtime Environment is crashing due to a bug opened here.

It's seem the bug only happens when you are using SSL terminating on tomcat.

workaround

Add the -XX:-UseAESIntrinsics flag to the JVM.
