    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

In various situations, a redirect would be of significant help:

      1. For us, we need to mirror some pages at different nodes in page hierachy (sometimes even in different space). Right now we make do with "include" macro which is not ideal - it breaks non-fully-qualified links (links without page title and/or spacekey), display no attachment while the real page has several, etc. A redirect command would help solve these issues easily.

      2. For users who complained that after renaming, users of previous page titles would be lost. In such situations redirect would certainly help - just created a page with old title that redirects.

      3. http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Redirect lists other useful purposes. I strongly recommend implementing it. Shouldn't be difficult I guess?
