Comments box disappears if attachments macro inserted in comment

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Confluence 5.4.4
2. Create a page
3. Comment on the page
4. Insert a blank attachments macro inside the comment

The comments box will disappear as shown in the attached screen shot:

Note: The attachments macro can be inserted in a comment in Confluence 5.7 without causing this issue.
