I am missing keyboard shortcuts for subscript and superscript.
Especially in an scientific environement that's a very common use.
Possibility to use the same shortcuts for that as in MS Word would be nice.

[CONFSERVER-35879] Keyboard shortcuts for Subscript and Superscript

None of the shortcuts posted at https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF34/Working+with+Text+Effects work for me on Confluence editor.

Thank you for the info. I wasn't aware of that possibility. However I my opinion this is a rather uncomfortable way to do it.

            • spaces between normal letters and super- or subsript letters are not really nice (especially in combination with line breaks)
            • typing something like L2 is very inconvinient (at least on a German keyboard) and it's not working anyway (nothing happens).

This can by done by typing
^superscript^ and ~subscript~ in the editor. More details here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF34/Working+with+Text+Effects
