Include full content in email notification

      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Initially, an email notification of a page/blog watched on Confluence will show full content of the page/blog.

      However, Confluence 4.3 and above does not has that feature. Email only shows title of the page, and any comment the author made when updating the page.

      It would be good to bring this feature back into Confluence.

            The workaround possible in Confluence 4.3.6 seem to not be working anymore (this dealt with updating the page-edited-notification.vm by adding a "else" rule to the test #if ($showDiffs).
            In that path the following code was introduced:
            <div class="email-page">
            $viewRenderer.render($content.bodyAsString, $conversionContext)
            </div>
            In 4.3.6 it worked allright if the user profile property "Show changed content" was unchecked.
            Any ideas anyone?

            I totally agree since we used this feature to be able to interpret information automatically updated in Confluence from e.g. a smart-phone outside of our firewall.
            It is to be noted that the documentation, to my knowledge at least, doesn´t speak of the removal but rather , in a couple of places, still talks about full page content being transmitted from a wathced page.
