Description
This bug only happens with Global (default) theme space. If you are using Documentation Theme it doesn't happens.
When editing a page, the page title in the editing title field is the one which was displayed before editing, not the one stored in the database. I.e. if someone has renamed the page after you displayed it, you will be using the old title, not the new one (and you will be re-saving the old title if you don't edit it).
This is an easy one to reproduce:
- in 2 different browsers (let's say, #1 and #2), display the same page
- in browser #1: Edit the page, modify the page title and Save the page
- in browser #2: don't refresh the page and Edit it
- you already see that the page title field contains the old title (although the whole page contents correctly corresponds with anything that has been previously edited, regardless of what was displayed)
- still in browser #2, make no modifications and Save the page
you've just reinstated the old page title
