Make Confluence and JIRA to share it's labels once a application links is created

      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

      The idea for this feature is to use the labels applied to the Confluence pages so that can be use as part of the search filtering on JIRA side. If the labels were shared that could be used as another criteria to search Confluence pages to link in JIRA issues.

            I would like Confluence and Jira to share labels as well. My group's workflow requires me to mirror the labels manually. Reducing this type of manual effort is why we moved to Atlassian. Thanks for your kind assistance.

            This issue should stay open until it get resolves, even if it take years, so we know what Atlassian is doing for their customers. Thank you in advanace.

            this would be a huge win for us, even something as simple as having both point to the same database of labels, especially if we can reference that same table from other products.

            Thanks for the feedback guys.
            We've actually talked about this in the past, but to be honest we can't see ourselves doing this in the foreseeable future. We've got thousands of more highly requested features and we are going to spend our time focusing on that. I just wanted to be open with you guys and set expectations.
