Permanent link to a version of a Confluence page when the page is the current page

      Need to link to current versions of Confluence pages for documentation work instructions. This link needs not to change if the version of the Confluence page changes. This allows us to baseline documentation for releases.

            This is actually pretty essential, you write a load of documentation that depends on external links and then when those links disappear you have nothing. Confluence should offer the possibility to save html pages and link to the saved page.

            We regret to inform you that due to limited demand, we have no plans to implement it in the foreseeable future. In order to set expectations, we're closing this request now. Sometimes potentially valuable tickets do get closed where the Summary or Description has not caught the attention of the community.
