Clicking personal space link from a user profile takes you to your personal space

      Viewing a user profile in confluence 5.3.4 (a different users profile) shows a link to 'Personal Space'.

      expected behavior:

      One would think that viewing a profile of another user and seeing a link saying 'personal space' would take you to the personal space of the user profile you are viewing.

      actual behavior

      If viewing another user's profile and click the personal space link, you are directed to your own personal space.

      <base_url>/users/viewuserprofile.action?username=<username>

            correct fred.bunting, user won't be able to find it in Confluence 5.5. as it has been removed from Confluence bundled plugins as describe by Olli.

            Just to clarify for people (as I was confused about this too) ... that Confluence Profile plug-in was only in 5.3.4, and has been removed from Confluence 5.5. (So there's no point is Confluence 5.5 users trying to find it.) Correct?

            Hi Ryan,

            This is a bug in Confluence Profile plugin that is shipped with Confluence 5.3.4, but it is disabled by default. It has since been removed in Confluence 5.5.

            I would suggest disabling it as a workaround.

            Hi Steve,
            That is a good observation! We don't have any UI modifications or plugins I can see that would modify the user profile. We do have in-app notifications disabled though. Could that be related?

            Could you confirm for me whether you have any custom plugins, or enabled any plugins that alter the Confluence user profile. The image you've supplied is not the default user profile page in Confluence.
