Attachment location is filesystem .. We are also facing a similar problem with Datacenter version 6.3.3

For those who have the Server version, just curious as to what is your attachment location (database / filesystem)?

MP4 not working in Confluence 6.0.2. I can only hear the Audio and the seek bar progresses as usual, however i do not see any video.

This still seems to be a problem on Confluence 5.9.7.  Please note that I am not using Quicktime as that is vulnerable and no longer supported.

What browser plugin can handle the .mp4 appropriately?  VLC does not seem to work.

What can be done to fix it on existing version without upgrading it ?

            Thanks,

We have the same issue on Safari 8 on mac. The player has no play button or any indication that it is a video. It looks like a standard image inserted in the page.
It is not possible to start playback. One workaround is to use Google Chrome.

The problem has to do with the size of the video.
My video is 1102x720. If I tell the multimedia plugin to make the video 1102x740 (20px extra in height) I am able to see the video player controls. If I make the video any smaller than that the controls start being cut off.

gsackett I increase width and height. and it works now. for .mov files, works on Chrome but actually not work on Safari (but both work on my local instance, inspect element, there is no differences).
pv1_TST_010_0010_comp_debug_base_beauty_v013_L_review.mov need to convert before playing so it doesn't work.
