Add Watchers Into Template

      Background of Request

      Some company use Confluence template extensively. Some company use specific templates for specific departments. These departments usually add the same set of users as the watchers of the newly created page using templates.

      It will be great if they could add the watchers into the template, so when this template is use to create the page, configured set of users will be automatically added as a watchers of the said page.

            Hi There, We've discussed doing this in the past. For the sake of keeping the product safe, and compared to all the other template feature requests we have we can't see ourselves doing this in the foreseeable future. If demand picks up again we will open this, but closing it for now to set expectations so it doesn't stay open for years with no traction.
