Customer pointed out:
Confluence recognizes corrupt cache entries since we can read the statements in the error log. Can't you add an automatism that the cache is emptied automatically when recognized as corrupt? Then admins don't need to downtime the server for rebuilding.
The concern here is how did the viewfile cache gets corrupted and to rebuild it, a restart/downtime is needed which may not be very feasible to implement each time it happens.
