Table cursor position and table deletion are broken in IE11

When creating a table in IE11, the cursor is placed slightly above where it should be. See the screenshot.

Tables seem to be getting the wrong dimensions while empty.

When clicking away and trying to press 'delete' or 'backspace' the table is not deleted.
