When inserting a link to connect to an existing anchor, you type #(anchor name) under Advanced per this article

      Tested in 5.1.2 works beautifully. Tested in 5.3 you get an error:

      ... is not a recognised space

            Thanks for raising this issue. I'm currently unable to reproduce this issue locally. Can you provide steps to reproduce this? Could you also let me know which browser you are using when reproducing this issue.

            It seems to be affected by the length of the anchor. Two-letter anchors work. Ten-letter anchors don't. I'm not sure what length is too long. Perhaps Atlassian can help. Thanks.
