Problem with symbol ° (degree)

      When I add/edit a page and use the ° symbol (degree), it is saved and later shown as ° instead (that is, including that weird ugly A with a tilde). If I re-edit that same page and don't remove the Â, a second will appear when I save it. So it seems that a  is being added everytime I save a °.

            Thanks for the update. We're unable to reproduce this issue on our systems. Since the issue has "disappeared" I'm going to close this issue as an unsolved mystery.

            If the problem re-occurs Please raising another issue with any more information you might have and we'll do our best to identify the problem.

            Issue occurs with chrome and firefox in windows 7. I'm inserting the character using alt+248. I'm not the only one having this problem in my lab.
            Please let me know if there is any additional information I can give.

            Thanks for raising this issue. We're having a few problems reproducing this issue. Could you provide us with some extra information:

            • Which web browser are you using?
            • Which operating system do you use?
            • How are you inserting the ° character into the editor?
