Labels not getting indexed as part of the page

      In Confluence 5.2, labels stopped getting indexed as part of a page. To reproduce:

      1. Create a page with a title "foo" and page content with just the word "foo"
      2. Add the label "bar" to that page.
      3. now search for "bar" from Confluence search.

      expected result: the "foo" page will appear in your search results.
      actual result: the "foo" page doesn't appear in your search results.

            Hey there, I still do not understand why it is not working to search for a label. Using Confluence 6.8.1. 

            Even found following discussion which stops without real solution...!?!

            hello, thank you but in fact i did a simple test in V4.0 i added a unique label on attachment and typed this label in the search box, i got no results, even after rebuilding the index manually.
            Am i missing something ? or is the bug there again V4.0 ?

            The autocomplete doesn't work anymore!!!!

            The function our users loved, is away and we have always the same request!

            Also Version 5.3 doesn't fixed it!

            I'm seeing the same behaviour with pages.

            I added the label "testlabel" to one page (yeah, not very original, I know). The page is now returned when I do a search of "testlabel" (Yay!) but autocomplete does not complete my search term.

            Does this works now again also with labels of attachments?

            E.g. file: VL_Investitionsantrag.pdf

            In the search at the top if we entered "inve" then it automatically showed up in the quick results.

            Now - nothing - only if we enter "vl_inve" then it shows it in the quick results.

            Alex, it's fixed but hasn't been deployed to OnDemand quite yet. Stay tuned.

            This isn't resolved on my wiki using 5.3 OnDemand.

            I create the label: testlabel. I search for testlabel - no result.

            But it's definitely been indexed somewhere. If I search labelText:testlabel, I get a correct result.

            Our users loved the old search - they found quickly what they needed. Now they are disappointed and want the old search back.

            Also the search of attachments with labels doesn't work properly.

            Maybe the search could be configured in the admin section to fit everyones need.
