I'm trying to use macros like panels, code blocks, etc, within bulleted lists. However, even when I style them to be indented to match their parent list item, they do not render as indented on the saved page. (They're always aligned to the left-most edge of the page, and ignore the indentation I've given them.)

Is there not a way to specify an indent amount (or border-left CSS property) for the macros? If not, can this be added (or is there a workaround through other markups)?

      Thanks for the assistance.

I am still having a problem with this using Javascript style in a Code Block, I get no indentation for tabs. I also am getting extra lines in between each line of code

I agree with Douglas in the previous comment. This does not seem to work in 5.6.3 either.

I am working in 5.6.1 and this does not appear to work. I am following instructions and when I do the paster it is always justifying the code block to the left margin. Would like to have code block indented to match paragraph above.

If you are using the macro within a bulleted list, this workaround still seems to work in Confluence 5.x (at least it works for the code-block macro when I tried it):

Has there been any progress to this card or an update of some sort? Thanks.
