Description
com.atlassian.confluence.extra.jira.TrustedAppsException: USER_UNKNOWN; Unknown User: {0}; ["abc@abc.com"] at com.atlassian.confluence.extra.jira.DefaultJiraIssuesManager$1.handle(DefaultJiraIssuesManager.java:112)
Steps to reproduce:
- Set up JIRA and Confluence on Trusted application
- Set up a Crowd instance connecting to JIRA and Confluence.
- The username for the user in Confluence is abc@abc.com
- In Crowd, create an alias for this user for JIRA as 'test'
- So, the username for the same user in JIRA is test
- Now login to JIRA with this user and then create an issue.
- In Confluence, create a page with JIRA issues macro and insert a link to the issue created above in JIRA.
- The error message above should show up..
JIRA issues macro is not able to translate the user 'test' to 'abc@abc.com'
You can also find more information in JIRA issues macro displays "USER_UNKNOWN".
