    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

In my organization, we would like to benefit from the great features of Confluence and a knowledge management QA system like OSQA, but would not like to have the problem of separate information, lack of integration and dual administration. Basically we would love to do what you have done with OSQA.

The problem is that now these tools are not integrated. Few things we’re interested in:

      • interactions that happen in OSQA are visible in Confluence’s notifications box
      • labels in OSQA are the same as those in Confluence, allowing users to find related stuff and subscribe
      • searchability from Confluence to both databases
      • merged profiles
      • merged activity streams

[CONFSERVER-29096] Make OSQA (a.k.a. AnswerHub) a fully integrated plugin for Confluence

As Patrick and Jorge have mentioned, we have just launched Confluence Questions, and naturally it's tightly integrated with Confluence.

For those keen to check out the Beta, you can get it to today at https://www.atlassian.com/questions. Look forward to getting your feedback!

Hi everyone. AnswerHub has been trialing its Confluence integration with a few existing AnswerHub customers. Our latest version brings integration to both applications, giving you the ability to answer questions by referencing Confluence articles, win badges for different activity in Confluence, view Confluence search results from AnswerHub and integrates with Activity Stream Gadgets (among other things).

If you'd like to give it a try, email me at matt@dzone.com and I'll get you setup with a trial. We're also working on the official announcement and getting the add-on into the Marketplace which we hope to do this week.

There is already answers.atlassian.com, I think based on Answerhub, I guess it integrates with Crowd (just like Answerhub) so productize it and and sell it already

Since we were quite in a hurry, we moved forward with the next best thing. AnswerHub's plugin still requires installing a separate system, so its only an interface between the two.

We are now using the Community Forums plugin with some small tweaks. It's not what we wanted from the start, but it what we have now.
