IE does not recognized image extension in uppercase when renaming/saving a gallery image

Steps to reproduce:

1. Access Confluence using IE
2. Upload an image to Confluence e.g. Maru.JPG
3. Embedded it in Confluence page using Gallery macro
4. Click on the image > Right Click > Rename the file > Save
5. The file is saved as a file instead of an image with jpg extension

Workaround:

1. Navigate to Tools > Attachments > Click on the image Properties > Change the file name to Maru.jpg (lowercase)
2. Repeat step #4
3. The file is saved to the machine as an image with jpg enxtension

OR

Use Firefox or Chrome instead which do not have the same problem
