Space creator have full admin access to the space and can remove the admin from that space

      Steps to reproduce:
      • Login as a normal user without any admin rights.
      • Create a Confluence space.-
      • Go to the space permissions, and edit the permissions to remove the Administrators group.

Now the user who created that space have full access, and the admin have no other way to gain access to that space anymore, except for confluence-administrator. This affects OnDemand in a big way, as no confluence-administrator is available for users.

I found a work-around. You can go to yourspace.atlassian.net/wiki/admin/permissions/viewdefaultspacepermissions.action then select Recover Permissions. After that you'll be able to View and Admin that Space.

A few of our spaces have fallen victim to this as well. I'd appreciate having the suggestion above implemented – another level of admin that can access ALL content on all spaces so that within an organisation regardless of permissions set by users.

            Thank you.

If confluece-administrator is not available for OnDemand, there needs to be another level of admin that can access ALL content on all spaces so that within an organisation regardless of permissions set by users, management have some way to have access to everything the organisation has created.
