Application logo link always goes to the dashboard, even when a custom home page is configured

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

If you change Confluence's home page to be something other than the dashboard, the logo in the top-left should actually link there rather than the dashboard.

This is the way most other websites work.

Hi nicolinux, Some information has been added to the this page to suggest that users add the Dashboard to the Application Navigator if they wish their users (or specific groups) to still be able to access the dashboard.

Hi, There is a problem with this behaviour. The user is never ever able to access the dashboard then. The logo links to whatever is configured and there is no other way to get to the dashboard - other than appending /dashboard.action to the url...
I suggest to add the dashboard link to one of the dropdown menus that are already there (either the users's or the "settings cog").

mknight@atlassian.com Yes, in 5.1, clicking the logo will go to the custom homepage, or the dashboard if none is configured.

            Fixing resolution.

It looks like this issue was resolved without a resolution. Is it the case that the app logo link will now go to a custom home page (if configured) from 5.1?

            Okay, works for me then.
