      In order to cut down on the size of an XML export Confluence could provide a utility to compress an instance by removing page version history. This would be a way of ensuring better performing and more reliable exports

            This is a must have feature IMO, the export page already has a no comments checkbox, adding the only current version will make my weekly exports and imports 80 % quicker.
