Thumbnails do not appear for images with spaces in the name

Thumbnails for images with spaces in their name do not appear at all. The thumbnail system seems to render the space as a '+' which results in a page not found error, whereas the actual attachments use '%20' which seems to work.

      Workaroud:

As workaround users can browse through the attachments section (Tools > Attachments) of the page, and for the attachment you have a space on it (in example: my file.jpg), click in properties and change the file name (so for the my file.jpg you could rename it to myfile.jpg). The image should display fine after that.

This is a real problem...all my images names has spaces in them, and rename them is not a solution for us, because we have two years working in that way and there are a lot of images with this problem.
I would like to know when the problem would be solved or if we can move to a Confluence version without this problem.
            Waiting for solution...

Do we have an ETA for when the bug will be fixed and applied into OnDemand?

            Thanks!

This is most likely due to OnDemand's existing Tomcat configuration that we changed back in June: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AOD-5854

It seems Confluence just changed something that doesn't work well with this configuration.
