    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

It isn't currently possible to move pages to spaces that have been archived, so currently the only workaround is to un-archive the space, wait for it to show in the index, move it, and then archive it again. This is impractical for customers who want to have a working archive, so this feature request is to ask that the possibility to move pages between archived and unarchived spaces is added to a future version of Confluence.

Such a simple request. So long just ignored!

            I agree - Big book of Will-not-fix/Deal-with-it...

I really like how Atlassian handle feature requests/bugreports. You guys should publish a book about it.

No plans to introduce this in the near term so I'll close this one.

The Archiving Plugin suggested by Ferenc may be a good solution, thanks!

I want to note that the Confluence Archiving Plugin can help you to automate the tedious tasks of archiving content and prevent the errors that come from doing that manually.

Hi John, is there a CSP ticket that this came from?
