Ability to see related JIRA issues from the Confluence viewpage

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

Once a link is created in Jira to link to a Confluence page, the Confluence page is mentioned in the JIRA ticket. It would be great if the JIRA issue is also mentioned in the particular Confluence page (somewhat reciprocal linking).

This will be fixed in our upcoming Confluence 5.4 release due later this year.

            Sounds great for me.
Nice idea to have a direct access to the issues mentionning the page.

I'm thrill to know when it will be Confluence

Thanks for the feedback, Cyrille. Actually we've talked about possibly having tabs at the bottom of each page with "Comments" (default tab) "JIRA issues" and other plugins could add to this, sounds like exactly what you are after.

            Hi Sherif,

I'm not totally agree with your answer.
The JIRA issue is indicated in the "frequent access points" but not in the "incoming links".
And clearly if we put a link to a Confluence page in a JIRA issue we are expecting to have this issue listed in the "incoming links".

May be something is missing in my configuration to have this information.

            Regards

            Cyrille
